Using numbers in French: A Beginner’s Workshop 

Hello French learners and welcome to my weekly beginner-level workshop online! Every week for 2 hours we learn and practice a specific aspect of the French language to deepen your knowledge and enhance your speaking skills. You can attend any workshop without having to come every week, but please make sure to check the required previous knowledge for each workshop.

This interactive workshop is designed for beginners who want to practice using numbers in French. This includes talking about prices, age, dates, and time.

 Workshop contents 

1. A reminder of all numbers (from single numbers to big numbers)
2. How to express prices
3. How to express age
4. How to express dates
5. How to express the time
6. Some basic everyday vocabulary in relation to price / age / dates / time (such as days of the week, people, etc.)

 Previous knowledge required (necessary) 

• A good enough knowledge of numbers until 20
• Knowledge of the days of the week and the months
• Good command of subject pronouns (je, tu, il, elle, on, nous, vous, ils, elles)
• Some knowledge of the present conjugation of basic verbs such as être , avoir, prendre, boire, arriver, partir, venir, etc.
• Knowledge of some basic vocabulary related to people and things, such as the vocabulary of family members and everyday life objects

 Previous knowledge (recommended) 

• Yes/No questions with est-ce que
• negation with ne… pas
